Katarína Adamcová
Dr. Adamcová graduated from the Faculty of Medicine at Comenius University in Bratislava in 2003. She worked as a psychiatrist at the Psychiatric Hospital Bohnice from 2003 to 2006, and subsequently at the Prague Psychiatric Center (PCP) from 2006 to 2015. Following the transformation of PCP into the National Institute of Mental Health in Klecany (NIMH) in 2015, she continued working there until July 2023, serving as a psychiatrist and senior doctor at a Day Care Center for Anxiety Disorders.
Currently, she is employed as a researcher at the NIMH in the Center for Virtual Reality Research. Additionally, she works in a psychiatric ambulance in Prague 9, and leads psychotherapy training in cognitive-behavioral therapy and trauma therapy at the Odyssea Institute and the Rafael Institute.
